When I struggle it’s in an area that is new to me, like doing technical things on the computer to promote my business, but I am someone who doesn’t give up learning. I ask for help & so having to struggle is NOT a stop for me.  What I have noticed is that I do get really disappointed when I’ve put a lot of effort into something, i.e.  my newsletter & updating my website, www.BeadZbyRoz.com . I actually get depressed ( which is an uncommon feeling for me) but last month I dug inside & with the help of great conversations with friends & reading Cathy’s newsletters, I cleared all this out & let go of ATTACHMENT to getting the result. Of course, I want results, but this month I feel so good about what I’ve created, that I feel freer to be more creative & continue thinking of marketing ideas to promote my efforts. “There is always another boat”.   Your newsletter & thoughts so resonate with me. You know how I feel about networking. Folks have absurd expectations. For example, that someone is going to shake your hand and say, “I want to hire you right now.” They are there looking for work most likely, so you’ve got a room filled with folks all looking for business, which does something weird to the energy in the room.

I just go to spread my enthusiasm and possibly make new friends. Period!
