The Yoga Of Marketing: How To Describe Your Work So People Will Hire You

Free Teleclass

Thursday, April 5th

7:00- 8:30 PM

On the phone

You want to your work to make a difference in the world.

You know your work is powerful.  You’ve seen amazing things happen with the people you’ve worked with, but you have a hard time describing exactly what your work is, or you’re describing it in a way that isn’t allowing people to connect to it.

In this free teleclass, you’ll learn what elements you need in your marketing message and elevator speech to make them not just accessible but also compelling for those who need your work.

If you can’t describe your work in a way that’s accessible to people, you’re going to have a very difficult time getting clients and business.

You’ll also learn how to differentiate what you do so that you stand out from everyone else that does the same thing.

Most business building programs give strategies and tools for growing your business.  Strategies and tools won’t help without a clear marketing message.  This is the foundation of your business.

To get access to the call on April 5th, fill in the fields below.  The info for the bridge line will be e-mailed to you along with the access code.

This class will be recorded.  Even if you can’t make the live event you’ll have access to the recording afterward.

Workshops That Work:  Creating Successful Events and Programs That Sell Out

Successful workshops allow you to reach more people, have more fun, and make more money. I’ve heard so many heart breaking stories about people working  to come up with content for a workshop only to have it be poorly attended or to have no one show up.  It’s so discouraging when this happens but the really sad part is that the person giving the workshop thinks no one wants what they have to offer. That is never the case.  It’s usually that they just didn’t promote and market the event. It doesn’t matter how great your thing is if nobody knows it’s out there. Whether you’re doing in-person classes, webinars or teleclasses–there is a way to structure the promotion so that you sell out your event. In this 2-part teleclass I’ll be covering: Session 1: Creation:

    • Figuring Out What Your Audience Will buy

    • How to choose a compelling topic and title for your workshop

    • How to create content easily and quickly without having to spend weeks working on it.

    • How to make your workshops interactive

If you’re not starting out with something that people want, then there’s no point in going forward. There will be worksheets and templates to help you:

    • Zero in on the content your audience wants and is willing to pay for.

    • Build the content from start to finish

Promoting Your Event:

    • How to weave a narrative into your promotional copy so that it pulls people in

    • How often to send out your promotions–too much and people get mad, not enough and people forget about you

    • Where and how to promote your events so that you get maximum exposure to your target audience

    • Tools and resources that I use to run successful teleclasses and webinars. (Just getting this list can save you lots of time and money)

You’ll also get worksheets and templates to guide you through the writing process so you won’t be sitting at a blank page wondering where to start Session #2You’ll get feedback on the work you’ve done from session #1 so that you know you’re on the right track and you can get any and all of your questions answered about moving forward. I’ll also cover:

    • How to create a promotion time-line with a blueprint of step by step strategies that you can use for all of your worksops/events

    • Strategies for turning workshop participants into clients/customers (this is the business building opportunity thing that most people miss!)

    • Getting Others to promote your event for you:  How to find strategic partners who multiply your marketing efforts ( you should not have to do it alone)

This class will not be offered again until September 2012 If you would like to be on the list to receive advanced notification, fill in the fields below:
